Project objectives:

- Create new advanced self organized nanostructured materials with high adsorption capacities
- Generate/produce new results concerning adsorption and disseminating them through conferences and/or publications.
- Generate new knowledge regarding the materials textural self-organization at nano-scale level.
- Provide results in remedying heavy metals contaminated industrial wastewater.
- To train researchers from Romanian and South Africa in a high level scientific environment; to exchange scientific ideas and experience between researchers of our countries.
