    Born 12.06.1946 in Corni, Botosani County, Romania. Married to Lizeta Medaru in 1970. Two children: Laura Siminiceanu (b. 30.03.1971) – textile engineer, and MBA; and Radu Siminiceanu (b. 21.09.1973) – PhD in Computer Science, Williamsburg, VA, USA.

  • Fluent Romanian (Moldavian included), French, English;

  • Good knowledge of Russian; fair knowledge of German, Italian, Spanish.
